The double room at Rumah Pohon in Batununggul was absolutely amazing! With a balcony offering stunning sea views, I felt like I was in paradise. The seating area was cozy, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Plus, having a shared bathroom was never an issue for me.
Personally, I didn't enjoy the shared bathroom as much, but I understand that some people might not mind it.

Living in a treehouse next to a mango was mind-blowing! The breathtaking day view of the hills and ocean, along with the stunning night sky, left me speechless. The owner and his family were super friendly, and I quickly became friends with Sinar, who acted as my knowledgeable guide. The flying fox was a jaw-dropping way to descend the hill. Nusa Penida and this unique experience will forever be etched in my memory. Can't wait to return in the future.

I had a unique and unforgettable experience at Rumah Pohon. Upon arrival, a helpful man greeted us and assisted with our luggage. the location, nestled in a peaceful area, provided a relaxing atmosphere. We were treated to a welcome drink and dinner, and the accommodation in the trees was a fantastic experience. Although there was no bathroom available at the time due to construction, it didn't hinder our stay. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast before taking a ride on the cableway through the gorge. Despite the language barrier, the host was friendly and accommodating.
It's a place you must experience for yourself. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like.

As someone who loves being in direct touch with nature, I absolutely loved the breathtaking view from the balcony of the tree house. the sight of the Agung volcano and Bali was simply awe-inspiring. the large bed in the tree house was comfortable and made me feel like I was sleeping amidst nature. the host was extremely kind and always there to assist with anything I needed. One of the best surprises was the delicious dinner that was included in the stay. And let's not forget the fun and exhilarating zip line that brought me to the parking area. I highly recommend this place for a perfect getaway to disconnect from the world. the entire place is handmade by the host, which adds to its charm.
Felt like home, no complaints.

Wow, what an adventure! The owner of this place was super friendly and went out of his way to make our romantic escape special. We were thrilled to have a room on top of a tree, with an amazing view and no pesky mosquitoes bothering us. And let me tell you, the flying fox ride to get back to our scooter was exhilarating!
But hold on, there were some downsides too. First of all, getting to this place was a hassle, as you definitely need a motorbike and there are no nearby food options.

The value for money at this place is unbeatable. The room may be basic, but the incredible view of the mountains and ocean from the treehouse makes up for it. The location is remote, quiet, and perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment.
The morning meal could have been improved with more variety or options.

Very peaceful location with great views of the jungle and ocean. No facilities, but a unique experience staying in a treehouse on a hill. Recommend bringing your own food. Safe and secure.

The view from our treehouse at Rumah Pohon was absolutely incredible. We were able to overlook the lush jungle, the sparkling ocean, and even catch a glimpse of Bali in the distance. It was truly breathtaking and unlike anything I had ever seen before. The thrill of the zipline was an added bonus, providing tons of fun and excitement during our stay. The dinner served was both generous in portion size and delicious in taste. We were also impressed by the hospitality of Pa Katut, who was always available to assist us throughout the day. The sunsets and sunrises we witnessed were simply sensational, adding a touch of magic to our experience.

We stayed at this accommodation for three nights and had an unforgettable experience. The host, an older Indonesian man, was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. He cooked delicious breakfasts and dinners, arranged scooters and tours at a great price, and even set up a campfire in the evenings. The accommodation itself, while basic, was clean and had everything we needed. The highlight was watching the sunset from our treehouse and then enjoying the bonfire with a cold Bintang beer. Truly a must-do experience!
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
